Hire Terms and Conditions

Camper Shak Hire Terms and Conditions

Travel is allowed in the UK and Southern Ireland.

Collection of your camper and return is from The Camper Shak premises, (Full address featured on the about us section).  If required you will be able to leave your car outside our premises, free of charge, however we can accept no responsibility for its security, and will be left at your own risk.

Our campers are finished to show standard therefore we have a NO PET and NO SMOKING POLICY

Bookings /Payment

All bookings must be confirmed in writing (e-mail) and only when your booking deposit is received is your camper truly booked. Bookings are provided on a first come basis, and availability is dependant on deposits received daily.

Payment for bookings can be either Cheques or Pounds Sterling.  Cheques must be cleared before Campers are hired out.  Please make cheques payable to The Camper Shak Ltd.

Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received, the payment cleared and receipt of your payment sent to you by our sales dept via e-mail.

A Non Refundable deposit of £150 per week of hire must be paid at the time of your booking, the balance is to be paid at least 21 days before your Camper is collected. All payment made will be confirmed to you by our sales dept via e-mail.

In addition to your payment for hire, an insurance security bond of £500 must be paid before driving the Camper away. This security bond is to cover us against any damage to the Camper whilst it is in your possession.  This will be returned to you in full when the camper is returned to us in the same good condition it was hired out.

Any damage or breakages to the interior or exterior of the Camper will be taken from this bond.

Any late returns will also be taken out of this bond costing £25 per part or full hour. If you are delayed in returning the Camper back to us, you must telephone to let us know, as you may not be insured for your additional time on the road. All relevant contact details will be in the back page of your individual Camper Hire booklet.

For any booking where there is less than 21 days until collection, full hire and security bond must be paid in full.

A full tank of unleaded fuel will be in the Camper when you collect it, this must be replaced when the Camper is returned. Should the Camper be low on fuel when returned a re-filling charge will be issued of £10 + all fuel required to re-fill. This payment will be taken from the security bond.
